Esther Dang Belibi
Esther Dang (born March 5, 1945) is a Cameroonian economist. She resigned as the director of the Cameroon National Investment company and stood as a presidential candidate. Life Dang was born in Mbalmayo in 1945. She began at University of Yaoundé in 1966 and proceeded until 1969 when she went to the University of Grenoble where she continued to study economics. She graduated in 1971. Dang has a doctorate in economics from the Sorbonne. She was promoted by , who was the minister of industrial development, to lead the director general of the Cameroon National Investment Company on 1 October 1990. Owena and , who was the organisation's managing director, both died in 2004. She was the director general and she resigned from this position in an angry dispute. Mbalmayo
Mbalmayo is a town in Cameroon's Centre Region. The town had 60,091 inhabitants in 2012. It is the capital of the Nyong-et-So'o Division It is located at the banks of the Nyong river between Ebolowa and Yaoundé. It is an agricultural centre and has an important function as a centre of education. Cameroon

The University of Yaoundé (french: Université de Yaoundé) was a university in Cameroon, located in Yaoundé, the country's capital. Yaou Aïssatou
Yaou Aïssatou (born 28 November 1951) is the Director General of Cameroon's National Investment Corporation (NIS). She was also Cameroon's first Minister of Women's Affairs. Early life Aïssatou is the daughter of the lamido of Tchéboa in Cameroon's North Region, where she attended high school. She went on to the ''Lycée Technique'' in Douala, where she obtained a baccalaureate in 1971. After her graduation she studied economics at the University of Rouen in France, obtaining a BA degree in 1975. She served with the NIS back in Cameroon for a short time before moving to the United States to study at Georgetown University and Claremont Graduate School, graduating with an MBA. Edith Kahbang Walla (born February 28, 1965), popularly known as Kah Walla, is a Cameroonian politician, entrepreneur and social activist. She went into politics in 2007 with the Social Democratic Front (SDF), the main Cameroonian opposition party and was then elected into the municipal council of Douala I. In 2010, she resigned from SDF following a divergence over strategy and declared her intention to run for the 2011 presidential election on October 23, 2010. 2016 Eséka Train Derailment
On 21 October 2016, a Camrail inter-city passenger train travelling from Cameroon's capital, Yaoundé, to its largest city, Douala, derailed in Eséka, Centre Region. By 30 October 2016, the official number of casualties had reached 79 dead, with 550 injured. It was the deadliest rail accident on the African continent since the August 2007 Benaleka train accident.
