Estelle Fanta Swaray (born 18 January 1980) is a British rapper, singer, songwriter, actress, and radio presenter from West London. She is known for her eclectic mix of various musical genres including R&B, soul, reggae, grime, hip hop, and dance. It was first released on 24 February 2012 in Ireland, 28 February in the United States and 12 March in the United Kingdom. Background Estelle confirmed her third album would be entitled ''All of Me'' in 2009. The album was originally led by the single "Freak" featuring Kardinal Offishall and produced by David Guetta. ''Shine'' is Estelle's second studio album. It was released on September 23, 2008 supported by the lead single " Wait a Minute (Just a Touch)", released in November 2007. The second single, "American Boy" featuring Kanye West, reached number 1 on the UK Singles Chart and the top 10 in several other countries. It also garnered two Grammy Award nominations for Best Rap Sung Collaboration and Song of the Year. The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. ''The 18th Day'' is the debut studio album by British rapper/singer-songwriter Estelle. The first edition was released on 18 October 2004 and the second edition on 4 April 2005. The album is almost split into two distinct styles: one half funky, UK R&B hip-hop, with the other more downbeat and soulful. Opening track "1980", the first single, contains a Wall of Sound and lyrics reminiscing about growing up. "Dance Bitch" resembles US hip hop stylings similar to Missy Elliott, while "Go Gone" has a Northern soul sound; "Free" is a bouncy funk number and also served as the second single. For the ballad "I Wanna Love You" and track "Crazy", Estelle eschews rapping for singing. Final track "I'm Gonna Win" is a dramatic number with uplifting vocals.
