Estadio Ruca Che is an indoor arena and multi-purpose stadium in the city of Neuquén, capital of Neuquén province and largest city in Patagonia. It was built in 1995 to host the Americas Basketball Championship. The name of this sport venue is in mapuche language: the word ''Ruka'' means ''house'' while ''Che'' means ''people''. Therefore, this is the ''House of the People''. Neuquén
Neuquén (; arn, Nehuenken) is the capital city of the Argentine province of Neuquén and of the Confluencia Department, located in the east of the province. It occupies a strip of land west of the confluence of the Limay and Neuquén rivers which form the Río Negro, making it part of the ecoregion of Alto Valle del Río Negro. The city and surrounding area have a population of more than 340,000, making it the largest city in Patagonia. 2001 Tournament Of The Americas
The 2001 COPABA Tournament of the Americas, later known as the FIBA Americas Championship and the FIBA AmeriCup (also as the Championship of the Americas for Men), was hosted by Argentina, from 16 August, to 26 August 2001. The games were played at the Estadio Ruca Che, Neuquén. This FIBA AmeriCup was to earn berths at the 2002 FIBA World Championship, in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. La Renga
La Renga is a hard rock Argentine band, formed in 1988. They had moderate success with the albums '' A Dónde Me Lleva La Vida'' and ''Bailando en una pata'', between 1993 and 1995, but it was the release of Despedazado por Mil Partes, in 1996, that made them nationally famous. La Ley (; ) were a Chilean rock band formed by Andrés Bobe, Rodrigo Aboitiz, Luciano Rojas and Mauricio Claveria with Beto Cuevas. Catupecu Machu is an Argentine rock band, usually classified as within Rock en Español. Its current band members are Fernando Ruiz Díaz on vocals and guitar; Sebastián Cáceres on bass guitar; Agustín Rocino on drums; and Macabre González on keyboards and samplers.
