Xochitepec
Xochitepec is a ''municipio (Mexico), municipio'' (Municipalities of Mexico, municipality) of the Mexican state, state of Morelos, in central Mexico. Xochitepec is also the name of its principal township and seat of the municipal government. It is located approximately 13 km (8.1 mi) to the south of the capital of Morelos, Cuernavaca, on the southern outskirts of that city's greater metropolitan area. Club de Fútbol Ballenas Galeana Morelos was a Mexican football club that played in the Tercera División de México. The club was based in Xochitepec, Morelos. History The club was founded in 1956 by Donato Rodríguez who constructed a small field between the streets Hermenegildo Galeana in downtown of Cuernavaca Morelos because the majority of the players lived in that area. That club played in that ground from 1956-1968. From 1968-2005 the club was under the ownership of Antonio Nava Hernández, the club has participated in various divisions never reaching the top division. Colibríes de Morelos was a Mexican football team. Nicknamed ''Los Colibríes'' (Hummingbirds), the club was founded in 2002 when the state of Morelos bought the Atlético Celaya franchise who at the time played in the top Mexican division. Colibries was the fifth professional club in the state of Morelos to play in the Primera División de México, Zacatepec being the first in 1948, followed by Marte, who moved from México City to Cuernavaca in 1953, Cuautla in 1955 and Oaxtepec in 1982. Colibries is the team with the least amount of history in the Primera Division, having played only six months in the top league for 2003 before being relegated.
