Estadio Luis Amílcar Moreno is a multi-use stadium in San Francisco Gotera, El Salvador. It is currently the home for Fuerte San Francisco, used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of C.D. Vista Hermosa. It has a total surface area of sixteen thousand seventy-four point forty-eight square meters.The stadium currently holds 4,000 people. In May 2025, it was announced that the stadium would be remolded, with new field, updated bathrooms, seating stands and players change rooms. Morazán Department
Morazán () is a Departments of El Salvador, department of El Salvador. Located in the northeast part of the country, its capital is San Francisco Gotera. It covers a total surface area of 1,447 km2 (558.8 mi² Square Miles). History Gotera was made a department in 1875, with its capital at Osicala. On February 8, 1877, Gotera was made the capital. The department changed its name from Gotera to Morazán on March 14, 1877. Morazán was a major stronghold of the guerrilla movement during the 1979-1992 civil war. San Francisco Gotera () is a municipality in the Morazán department of El Salvador. It is the capital of the Morazán department in El Salvador. Name Gotera is a native word that is derived from two roots: "Got," meaning snake or serpent, and "era," meaning hill. The name has been interpreted to mean "hill of snakes." Fuerte San Francisco is a football club based in San Francisco Gotera, El Salvador that plays in the Primera División, the top flight of Salvadoran football. Nicknamed Los Comandos Azules (The blue commanders), the club has won two league second division titles, Seven third divisions titles and one promotional titles.
