Espanto II
Fernando Cisneros Carrillo (August 25, 1932 – August 27, 2010), was a Mexican ''luchador'' or professional wrestler known under the ring name Espanto II ("Terror 2"). For most of his career he was closely associated with his tag team partner and close friend José Vázquez, better known as Espanto I as well as Miguel Vázquez known as Espanto III, with the three collectively known as ''Los Espantos'' During his professional wrestling career Carillo held the Mexican National Tag Team Championship with Espanto I and the Northern Tag Team Championship with Espanto III. He lost his mask to Rubén Juárez in 1963 as a result a ''Lucha de Apuestas'', or "bet match". In 2010 he was inducted into the Ciudad Juárez ''Lucha Libre'' Hall of Fame along with the other two ''Espantos''. Empresa Mexicana De Lucha Libre
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as ''Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre'' (''EMLL'') (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence. Mil Máscaras (born Aarón RodrÃguez Arellano, July 15, 1942) is a Mexican luchador (professional wrestler) and actor. He is regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of the lucha libre tradition in Mexico – along with El Santo and Blue Demon – and has been described as the first international superstar of lucha libre. Mil Máscaras is considered one of the most influential wrestlers of all time for enhancing and popularizing the lucha libre style around the world, both in the ring and as the star of 20 films. He is also an accomplished artist and cultural ambassador for his native country and has appeared on three of its postage stamps. Although he has never been unmasked and his true identity is generally kept a secret out of respect for lucha libre traditions, his real name is known due to appearing in the credits of the films he has starred in. Rayo De Jalisco
Máximino Linares Moreno (November 22, 1932 – July 19, 2018) was a Mexican ''luchador'' (professional wrestler) and lucha film star, better known under the ring name Rayo de Jalisco ("The Lightning Bolt from Jalisco"). He is considered to be one of the best wrestlers of his generation. Linares' son followed in his footsteps and is working under the name Rayo de Jalisco Jr., wearing the same distinctive black mask with silver lightning bolt on it when wrestling. One of Linares' grandsons is also a wrestler, known as "Rayman". Rito Romero
Rito Romero Loza (May 19, 1927 - January 18, 2001) was a successful luchador who wrestled in Mexico and in the NWA territories of Texas and Los Angeles. He appeared in several films in his native country along with a number of other luchadors. He is remembered for his innovation of the ''Romero Special''/''La Tapatia'' submission manoeuver, commonly known as the ''Professional wrestling holds#Surfboard, Surfboard''. Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta (23 September 1917 – 5 February 1984), known professionally as El Santo or in English The Saint, was a Mexican luchador enmascarado (Spanish for "masked professional wrestler"), actor and folk hero. He is one of the most famous and iconic Mexican luchadores, and has been referred to as one of "the greatest legends in Mexican sports". Huracán RamÃrez
Daniel GarcÃa Arteaga (April 9, 1926 – October 31, 2006), best known under the ring name Huracán RamÃrez (English: "Hurricane RamÃrez"), was a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler) and actor. GarcÃa was neither the first, nor the last, wrestler to work under the name "Huracán RamÃrez". He was given the name in the mid-1950s, when the wrestler who originally played Huracán in the 1953 film ''Huracán RamÃrez'' decided to give up the role in the ring because he no longer wanted to obscure his face with the mask. Thus, GarcÃa became the second wrestler to wrestle in the ring under the Huracán identity. Alejandro Muñoz Moreno (April 24, 1922 – December 16, 2000), better known by the ring name Blue Demon (''Demonio Azul'' in Spanish), was a Mexican film actor and ''luchador enmascarado'' (Spanish for masked professional wrestler). Blue Demon is considered a legend of lucha libre, partially from starring in a series of Lucha films between 1961 and 1979, often alongside in-ring rival El Santo. His in-ring career began in 1948 and stretched for 41 years until his retirement in 1989. The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship is a world heavyweight professional wrestling championship owned and promoted by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), an American professional wrestling promotion. The current champion is Tyrus, who is in his first reign.
