Eskilstuna Guif
Eskilstuna Guif is a handball club based in Eskilstuna, Sweden, which currently competes in Handbollsligan, the top domestic handball league. The club was founded in 1896 as Godtemplarnas Ungdoms- och Idrottsförening (The Good Templars' Youth and Sport Club). They have reached the Swedish Championship final four times (1997, 2001, 2009 and 2011), but lost on each occasion. They also finished first in the regular season in 2011-12 and 2013–14,Hanbollboken 2014/2015 (in swedish) but were eliminated in the semi-finals in both these seasons. They have played 54 seasons in the top division, second only to Redbergslid, and are fourth in the all-time table of the league. Eskilstuna () is a city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. The city of Eskilstuna had 67,359 inhabitants in 2015, with a total population of 100,092 inhabitants in Eskilstuna municipality (2014). Eskilstuna has a large Sweden Finn population. The town is located on the River Eskilstunaån, which connects Lake Hjälmaren and Lake Mälaren. History Eskilstuna's history dates back to medieval times when English monk Saint Eskil made "Tuna" his base and diocese of the South coast of Lake Mälaren. Saint Eskil was stoned to death by the pagan vikings of neighbouring town Strängnäs, east of Eskilstuna, trying to convert them to Christianity. Saint Eskil was buried in his monastery church in Tuna. Later the pagan city of Strängnäs was Christianised and was given the privilege of becoming diocese of South Lake Mälaren. Carl-Erik Stockenberg
Carl-Erik Stockenberg (; 11 June 1925 – 30 June 1985) was a Swedish handball player, who played as a back player. He was a prolific goalscorer and also skilled at blocking shots from opponents. ' He was a Swedish champion with IFK Kristianstad three times1948, 1952 and 1953. Stockenberg was the top scorer of Allsvenskan five years in a row from 1949–50 to 1953–54. In total he played 184 matches and scored 720 goals in Allsvenskan for Kristianstad. In 1956 he joined league rivals IFK Borås, where he played for a single season, playing 18 matches and scoring 71 goals. In 1957 he signed for Guif, where he played until 1967. The team played in Allsvenskan for six of Stockenberg's ten seasons at the club. In these six seasons, he played 85 matches and scored 380 goals. In total, he scored 1171 goals in the top division, making him the first player to score 1000 goals in the league. Kristján Andrésson
Kristján Andrésson (born 27 March 1981) is a Swedish-born Icelandic retired handball player and ex coach of the Swedish national team. He competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics. Until 2020 he was the head coach for the Swedish national team. He played several games for the Icelandic national team, including at the 2004 Olympics. He retired as a player in 2005 due to injury problems.
