Eschershausen-Stadtoldendorf is a ''Samtgemeinde'' ("collective municipality") in the district of Holzminden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its seat is in the town Stadtoldendorf. It was formed on 1 January 2011 by the merger of the former ''Samtgemeinden'' Eschershausen and Stadtoldendorf. Holzminden () is a district in Lower Saxony, Germany, with the town of Holzminden as its administrative capital. It is bounded by (from the north and clockwise) the districts of Hamelin-Pyrmont, Hildesheim and Northeim, and by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (districts of Höxter and Lippe).
