Sleepwalking (Magnum Album)
''Sleepwalking'' is the ninth studio album by the English rock band Magnum, released in 1992. Following the decision to leave Polydor, ''Sleepwalking'' was recorded within six months, and is the first self-produced album by Magnum since '' The Eleventh Hour''. Tony Clarkin was much happier acting as producer, following his working relationship with Keith Olsen on ''Goodnight L.A.''. Learning from Olsen, Clarkin had enough experience to produce Magnum's records on his own, this also being the best option to cut production costs for future albums. Clarkin and Catley commented that ''Sleepwalking'' represented a return to the classic Magnum style, as opposed to the previous album ''Goodnight L.A.'', which was produced with the American market in mind. The album got a mixed reception, with critics writing that the band was moving in the direction of pop rock. "Only in America" was released as a single, but following poor sales figures, the second single, "You're the One", was cancel ...

The Eleventh Hour (Magnum Album)
''The Eleventh Hour'' is the fourth studio album by English rock band Magnum, released in 1983 by Jet Records. The production of this album caused a lot of tension between the band and Jet Records, following the two-year delay to the previous album, ''Chase the Dragon'' in 1982 and their first album, '' Kingdom of Madness'', in 1978.Clarkin, Tony & Ling, David (2006). "Sleeve Notes" in ''The Eleventh Hour: Expanded Edition'' (pp. 2) D liner notes London: Sanctuary Records. These tensions were further strained when Jet Records denied the band a big name producer, leaving them to produce the album themselves. ''The Eleventh Hour!'' was released in May 1983, peaking at No. 38 in the UK charts, disappointing considering ''Chase the Dragon''s peak of No. 17 in 1982. ''The Eleventh Hour!s original title was to be ''Road to Paradise''. The 2005 expanded version of the album was reissued on 22 September 2006 in Japan with mini LP/paper sleeve packaging through Arcangelo. The album was ...

In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. The OCC produces its charts by gathering and combining sales data from retailers through market researchers Kantar, and claims to cover 99% of the singles market and 95% of the album market, and aims to collect data from any retailer who sells more than 100 chart items per week. The OCC is operated jointly by the British Phonographic Industry and the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) (formerly the British Association of Record Dealers (BARD)) and is incorporated as a private company limited by shares jointly owned by BPI and ERA. The Chart Information Network (CIN) took over as compilers of the o ...

UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. As of 2021, the OCC still only tracks how many UK Top 75s album hits and how many weeks in Top 75 albums chart each artist has achieved. To qualify for the Offi ...
