HMS Escapade
HMS ''Escapade'' was an E and F-class destroyer, E-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy in the early 1930s. Although assigned to the Home Fleet upon completion in 1934, the ship was attached to the Mediterranean Fleet in 1935–1936 during the Abyssinia Crisis. During the Spanish Civil War of 1936–1939 she spent considerable time in Spanish waters, enforcing the arms blockade imposed by Britain and France on both sides of the conflict. ''Escapade'' was assigned to convoy escort and anti-submarine patrol duties in the Western Approaches when World War II began in September 1939, but transferred back to the Home Fleet at the end of the year. After participating in the Norwegian Campaign in early 1940, she participated in anti-invasion duty and escorted capital ships to Gibraltar and in Operation Menace. ''Escapades'' is the debut studio solo album by French electronic musician Gaspard Augé, half of the French electronic duo Justice. It was released on 25 June 2021 by Ed Banger Records through Genesis (Because Music). It was recorded in Paris alongside French producer Victor le Masne, taking only 2 months to complete. Video shorts were released for the singles "Force Majeure", "Hey!", "Captain", and "Belladone", as well as for the song "Pentacle". The album's lead single "Force Majeure" was selected as the official BBC broadcast soundtrack for UEFA Euro 2020. After premiering at the Theatre Royal, Brighton in December 1952 it transferred to the West End where it ran for 447 performances between 20 January 1953 and 20 February 1953, initially at St James's Theatre and then at the Strand Theatre. Harold Danko (born June 13, 1947 in Ohio) is an American jazz pianist. Danko attended Youngstown State University. Among his credits are work in the big bands of Woody Herman and Thad Jones/Mel Lewis, as well as smaller ensembles with Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker and Lee Konitz. Gem is a rock band from Utrecht, Netherlands. The five-piece band was founded in 2003, and has released four albums of which ''Hunters Go Hungry'' (2011) is the newest. History In 2003 when singer Maurits Westerik joined with guitarist Bas de Graaff and bassist Vincent Lemmen. With the addition of second guitarist Simon Bonner the band recorded its first demo in Studio Moskou in Utrecht. Tony van Best drummed on the tracks. Having heard that The Libertines were to play in the Melkweg in Amsterdam, Westerik sent links to some of their MP3s, and asked if the band could play as opening act. The programmers at the Melkweg agreed. Dreadzone are a British electronic music group. They have released eight studio albums, two live albums, and two compilations. Career Dreadzone were formed in London, England in 1993 when ex- Big Audio Dynamite drummer Greg Roberts teamed up with Tim Bran, who had previously worked as a musician and sound engineer for Julian Cope and who has done production work for artists including London Grammar, Birdy, and the Dutch duo HAEVN. ''Escapades'' is the debut studio album by Australian indie pop band Hungry Kids of Hungary. Released in Australia on 1 October 2010 on Stop Start. The album was produced by Matt Redlich and peaked on the Australian ARIA chart at number 24. The album also reached #20 in triple j's listeners top 20 album poll at the end of 2010. The album includes two singles from the band's first two EPs, "Scattered Diamonds" and a re-recorded version of "Set It Right". Recording and production ''Escapades'' contains material that had been written by the band's Dean McGrath and Kane Mazlin from 2008 through to the album's release in 2010. A total of 47 demos were recorded for the record with the track list resulting in 12 tracks. A further two songs - "Airsick" and "Keep Talking" - were recorded for the album but didn't make the physical release.
