Erwin Lemmens
Erwin Lemmens (born 12 May 1976) is a Belgian retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and is the goalkeeper coach of the Belgium national team. Lemmens won two caps for Belgium, both in 2004. On 24 January 2013, Lemmens was named the goalkeeping coach of the Red Devils. Club career Born in Brussels, Lemmens started his career at K.S.K. Beveren in 1995, and was a regular in his last two years after which he signed for Racing de Santander in Spain. After four seasons and 49 La Liga matches for the Cantabrians (adding 33 appearances in a 2002 promotion) he joined RCD Espanyol also in the country, being first-choice during the 2003–04 campaign. Belgian Second Division
The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B. Jan Van Steenberghe (born 4 July 1972) is a former Belgian football goalkeeper. He played most recently for F.C. Verbroedering Dender E.H., after being released from R.S.C. Anderlecht. 2007–08 Belgian First Division
The 2007–08 season of the Belgian First Division began on August 3, 2007 and concluded on May 10, 2008. The championship was decided in the 31st round on April 20, 2008, when Standard Liège beat Anderlecht 2–0 at home. For Standard it was their 9th League Championship, but just their first in the last 25 years. At the other end of the table, Brussels and Sint-Truiden were relegated on matchdays 31 and 32 respectively. Behind Standard, Anderlecht and Club Brugge fought until the end for the second place which gives right to a place in the qualifying rounds of the 2008–09 UEFA Champions League. Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club based in Almelo, founded in 1903. The club has won the Dutch national title twice, in 1927 and 1941. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. The player can then go on to sign for any club offering a contract to them. How it works The club acquiring the player does not have to pay any compensation for their release due to having nothing left to pay on their contract, hence, the term free transfer. Tomislav Butina (; born 30 March 1974) is a Croatian former footballer who played as goalkeeper for Dinamo Zagreb, Club Brugge and Olympiacos.
