Ertan Demiri ( mk, Ертан Демири; born 24 January 1979) is a retired Macedonian footballer. He belongs to the ethnic Albanian minority in the country. Club career Childhood and early career Ertan Demiri was born in Saraj, Skopje, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to Albanian Parents. Growing up in Saraj, Demiri enrolled into FK Sloga Jugomagnat, the football club based in Čair. Career in Macedonia Demiri stayed in Sloga Jugomagnat for five years, earning 78 appearances and scoring three times. during his stay, Demiri helped Sloga win the Macedonian First league. Semra Ertan (31 May 1956 – 26 May 1982) was a Turkish migrant worker and writer in Germany who, in protest against racism, specifically, the treatment of Turks in Germany, set herself on fire in a Hamburg marketplace. Biography Semra Ertan was born on 31 May 1956, in Mersin, Turkey. She was the daughter of Gani Ertan and Vehbiya Ertan, who lived in Kiel and Hamburg as foreign workers. She moved to Germany at the age of 15, with her sisters following a little later. In addition to working as an interpreter, she wrote more than 350 poems and political satires. Ertan Dam
The Ertan Dam () is an arch dam on the Yalong River, a tributary of the Yangtze River in Sichuan Province, southwest China. The dam has six hydroelectric generators, each with a generating capacity of 550 MW. The total generating capacity of the facility is 3,300 MW, one of the largest hydroelectric stations in China. The annual production is 17 TWh, and until December 5, 2006, it has produced over 100 TWh of electricity. Construction of the dam started on September 1991 and was completed on December 26, 1999.
