Ernesto Aguirre (tennis)
Ernesto Aguirre is a Chilean former tennis player. Aguirre, a football player in his youth, was a member of the Chile Davis Cup team from 1959 to 1967, featuring in a total of 15 ties. He won four singles and seven doubles rubbers. His appearances included an America Zone final against the ultimate champions Australia in 1964. Sarah Virginia Wade (born 10 July 1945) is a British former professional tennis player. She won three Major tennis singles championships and four major doubles championships, and is the only British woman in history to have won titles at all four majors. She was ranked as high as No. 2 in the world in singles, and No. 1 in the world in doubles. Wade was the most recent British tennis player to win a major singles tournament until Andy Murray won the 2012 US Open, and was the most recent British woman to have won a major singles title until Emma Raducanu won the 2021 US Open.
