Ernestine Barrier
Ernestine Barrier (born Ernestine Spratt; March 19, 1908 – February 13, 1989) was an American actress of stage, film and television. She used the stage name of Ernestine De Becker (after her mother's maiden name). She is noted for playing a female president in the film ''Project Moonbase'' (1953). Descended from an acting family, Barrier made her first stage appearance at the age of roughly six months when she was carried onstage by her mother Ernestine ("Nesta") De Becker (sister of Marie De Becker), also an actress. Barrier acted into her eighties appearing on such television shows as ''Charlie's Angels'', ''CHiPs'', and ''The Waltons'' and the television film ''A Family Upside Down'' (1978) with Helen Hayes and Fred Astaire. Marie De Becker
Marie Kathleen De Becker (13 June 1880 – 23 March 1946) was an English-American stage and screen actress. Family She was born in Islington, London, the daughter of Benevenuto Nicola de Becker, a shipping clerk, and his wife Catherine (or Kate) Elizabeth de Becker (''née'' Kerin). Two of her siblings were also actors: her sister Ernestine, known as Nesta (mother of actress Ernestine Barrier) and her brother Harold. Career Marie De Becker was best known for playing mature character parts, notably in the 1940s films '' Mrs. Miniver'', ''Random Harvest'' and ''Devotion''. ''Bat Masterson'' is an American Western television series which was a fictionalized account of the life of real-life marshal/gambler/dandy Bat Masterson. The title character was played by Gene Barry, and the half-hour black-and-white series ran on NBC from 1958 to 1961. The show was produced by Ziv Television Productions. "Bat" is a nickname for Masterson's first name, Bartholemew, although in both the 1958 pilot "Double Showdown" and 1961 episode "No Amnesty For Death", he says his name is William Barkley Masterson. Audrey Hare Bicker-Caarten (1900–1977) was an actress and playwright who worked under the name of Audrey Carten. Biography Audrey Hare Bicker-Caarten was born in 1900 into a middle-class family in Blomfield Road, Maida Vale, London, the daughter of Catherine and Edwin Hare Bicker-Caarten.
