Ernest Krogh-Hansen
Ernest Krogh-Hansen (8 September 1896 – 1975) was a Norwegian civil servant, diplomat and ambassador. He was born in Tønsberg to ship owner Hans Krogh-Hansen and Magdalene Ambjørnsen. He graduated with a candidate of law (cand.jur.) degree in 1926. During the Spanish Civil War he was stationed in Valencia (1937) and as chargé d'affaires ad interim in Barcelona (1938). During World War II he was stationed in Moscow from 1943. He served as Norwegian ambassador in Beijing from 1955, and was involved in the Indo-Norwegian Project in Kerala from 1959. Tønsberg , historically Tunsberg, is a city and municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, eastern Norway, located around south-southwest of Oslo on the western coast of the Oslofjord near its mouth onto the Skagerrak. Erik Dons
Erik Dons (2 April 1915 – 29 January 2002) was a Norwegian diplomat. He was born in Horten as a son of navy captain Hans Fleischer Dons (1882–1940) and his wife Hilda Marie Høyer. He finished his secondary education in 1934, and graduated from the Royal Frederick University with the cand.jur. degree in 1939. He started working in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1940, and followed the political leadership into exile in London during the Second World War. He was promoted to assistant secretary in 1949. He was a counsellor to the Norwegian United Nations delegation from 1952, and was present in the delegations to the General Assembly from 1946 to 1955. He also represented Norway in the International Refugee Organization's general council in 1949 and 1951, and in the United Nations Economic and Social Council delegation from 1954 to 1956. Norwegian Ambassador To China
The List of diplomats of Norway to China began when diplomatic relations were established in 1851. The establishment of diplomatic relations took place during the union between Sweden and Norway, and a Norwegian-Swedish consulate general was established in Guangzhou. A vice consulate was set up in Shanghai in 1853. When the vice consulate in Shanghai became the consulate general in 1863, and the consulate general in Guangzhou was upgraded to a vice consulate.
