Domenico Freschi
Giovanni Domenico Freschi (26 March 1634 – 2 July 1710) was an Italian composer and Roman Catholic priest. From the age of 22 until his death he worked as a church musician and composer in Vincenza. He was also active as an opera composer from 1671 to 1685. Life and career Born in Bassano del Grappa, Freschi was appointed the ''maestro di cappella'' at the Cathedral of Vicenza on 14 December 1656; just a few years after his ordination. He remained in that post until his death in Vincenza 53 and a half years later. His sacred music compositions were frequently performed at the cathedral and at other major churches in Vincenza during his lifetime. In addition to his work as a church musician and composer, Freschi also had an active career as an opera composer. Of his 16 known operas, 11 of them premiered at theatres in Venice and 5 of them at the opera house in Villa Contarini, Piazzola sul Brenta. Ermelinda Meksi
Ermelinda Meksi is an Albanian politician, who held different positions in the Cabinet of Albania during the years 1997 to 2005. She is the first woman to be appointed as Deputy Prime Minister, the highest office held by a woman at the time in Albania. Biography Meksi graduated from the University of Tirana in 1979. Later she obtained her PhD in economics there. She worked for many years as a professor at the Faculty of Economics. In 1992 she was elected a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania and held this position until November 2011. During the Socialist government she served as Minister of State for Foreign Assistance and Development in 1997 - 1998, than as Minister of Economy until 2002. Ermelinda Zamba (born 28 August 1981) is a Mozambican former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Zamba qualified for the women's 50 m freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics The 2004 Summer Olympics ( el, Θερινοί Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες 2004, ), officially the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad ( el, Αγώνες της 28ης Ολυμπιάδας, ) and also known as Athens 2004 ( el, Αθήνα 2004), ... in Athens, by receiving a Universality place from FINA, in an entry time of 30.33. She cleared a 30-second barrier, and posted a lifetime best of 29.34 to lead the third heat, edging out Madagascar's Aina Andriamanjatoarimanana in a close race by one hundredth of a second (0.01). Zamba failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed fifty-fifth overall out of 75 swimmers on the last day of preliminaries.
