Erling Dávidsson Jacobsen (born 13 February 1990) is a Faroese international footballer who plays as a defender for Víkingur. Career Jacobsen has played club football in both Denmark and the Faroe Islands for Fremad Amager, GÍ Gøta, FC Amager and Vanløse IF Vanløse IF is a Danish football club from the Vanløse area of Copenhagen, which plays in Danish 3rd Division. Víkingur Gøta
Víkingur is a semi-professional association football, football club in the Faroe Islands. The club was founded in 2008 after the merger of GÍ Gøta and Leirvík ÍF. The club is based in Leirvík, while the Serpugerði Stadium, stadium is in Norðragøta. Both villages are part of the same municipality Eysturkommuna, located on the island of Eysturoy and about 5 kilometers away from each other. The club won the Faroese championship for the first time in the 2016 season. In the 2017 season, Vikingur won the championship again.
