Erling Danielsen
Erling Danielsen (10 June 1922 – 15 March 2010) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. From 1957 to 1959 he was the chairman of the Youth of the Christian People's Party, the youth wing of the Christian Democratic Party. The Christian Democratic Party ( nb, Kristelig Folkeparti, nn, Kristeleg Folkeparti, se, Risttalaš Álbmotbellodat, , KrF) is a Christian-democratic political party in Norway founded in 1933. The party is an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP). It currently holds three seats in the Parliament, having won 3.8% of the vote in the 2021 parliamentary election. The current leader of the party is Olaug Bollestad. The Christian Democrats' leader from 1983 to 1995, Kjell Magne Bondevik, was one of the most prominent political figures in modern Norway, serving as Prime Minister from 1997 to 2000 and 2001 to 2005. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Østfold
Østfold is a traditional region, a former county and a current electoral district in southeastern Norway. It borders Akershus and southwestern Sweden (Västra Götaland County and Värmland), while Buskerud and Vestfold are on the other side of Oslofjord. The county's administrative seat was Sarpsborg. The county controversially became part of the newly established Viken County on 1 January 2020. Many manufacturing facilities are situated here, such as the world's most advanced biorefinery, Borregaard in Sarpsborg. Fredrikstad has shipyards. Odd Steinar Holøs (8 April 1922 – 31 August 2001) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. He was born in Rakkestad. From 1956 to 1957 he was the chairman of the Youth of the Christian People's Party, the youth wing of the Christian Democratic Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Østfold in 1981, and was re-elected on one occasion. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1958–1961, 1961–1965, 1965–1969, 1969–1973, 1973–1977 and 1977–1981. He met as a regular representative in 1972 and 1973 meanwhile Lars Korvald was Prime Minister. In 1963, during the short-lived cabinet Lyng, he was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Social Affairs.
