Erika Wagenius
Erika Wagenius also known as Erika Norberg, Erika Malmsteen and Erika Evenlind (born 1967) is a singer, performer, and songwriter in the genres of pop rock, glam metal, and AOR. Career Wagenius formed her first band at age 12 in her native Skellefteå, Sweden. As a teenager she relocated to Stockholm where she continued to form, write music and record demos with various rock bands. In 1989 she got an offer for a record deal with Lionheart records. She co- wrote and recorded her debut album ''Cold winter night'' with producers and songwriters Bobby Ljunggren, Håkan Almqvist and Jonas Warnerbring in 1990. The album went triple platinum and had a number one- and several top ten hits. This was followed by two sold out tours where several shows had to be cut short due to the crowds forcing through the crush barriers. Skellefteå
Skellefteå (, locally ) is a Cities in Sweden, city in Västerbotten County, Sweden. It is the seat of Skellefteå Municipality, which had 73,246 inhabitants in 2021. The city is historically industrial, with mining being a large part of that industry, especially for gold, leading to the city being nicknamed ''Guldstaden'' ("gold town"). Politically, Skellefteå is a Social Democrats (Sweden), Social Democratic stronghold. Candlemass (band)
Candlemass is a Swedish epic doom metal band established in Stockholm in 1984 by bassist, songwriter and bandleader Leif Edling and drummer Matz Ekström. The band had a defining influence on doom metal, and the genre itself is named after their debut album ''Epicus Doomicus Metallicus''. Along with Pentagram (band), Pentagram, Saint Vitus (band), Saint Vitus and Trouble (band), Trouble, Candlemass has been referred to as one of the "big four of doom metal". After releasing five full-length albums and touring extensively throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Candlemass disbanded in 1994, but reunited three years later. In Flames is a Swedish heavy metal band, formed by guitarist Jesper Strömblad in Gothenburg in 1990. Alongside At the Gates and Dark Tranquillity, In Flames pioneered the genres known as Swedish death metal and melodic death metal. During the band's early years, In Flames had a varying group of musicians recording with them, including many session musicians. By the release of ''Colony'' (1999), the group had established a stable lineup. Their sixth studio album ''Reroute to Remain'' (2002) showed the band moving toward a newer style of music that moved further away from melodic death metal and closer to alternative metal.
