Erik Torba
Erik Torba (born 1 February 1996) is a Hungarian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a silver medalist at the European Games and a bronze medalist at the European Wrestling Championships. Career Torba competed in the men's 59 kg event at the 2017 European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia and the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in Paris, France. At the beginning of 2018, United World Wrestling implemented changes to the weight classes used in wrestling and in that year he began competing in the 60 kg and 63 kg weight classes. He competed in the men's 60 kg event both at the 2018 European Wrestling Championships in Kaspiysk, Russia and the 2018 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Torba represented Hungary at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus and he won the silver medal in the 60 kg event. In the final, he lost against Stepan Maryanyan of Russia. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Individual World Cup was held as replacement for the World Wrestling Championships. 2018 World Wrestling Championships
The 2018 World Wrestling Championships were the 15th edition of World Wrestling Championships of combined events and were held from 20 to 28 October in Budapest, Hungary. Russia claimed 10 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals, its best ever overall result in the post-Soviet era. The Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series 2022 was a wrestling event held in Ostia (Rome), Ostia, Rome, Italy between 22 and 25 of June 2022. The 59th Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament, was wrestling event held in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria between 17 and 20 February 2022. Kerem Kamal (born 10 August 1999) is a Turkish wrestler competing in the 60 kg division of Greco-Roman wrestling. He is a member of İzmir BB GSK He won the gold medal in the 60kg event at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. Career In 2018, he won the gold medal in the men's 60 kg event at the European U23 Wrestling Championship held in Istanbul, Turkey. In that same year, he also won one of the bronze medals in that event at the 2018 World U23 Wrestling Championship held in Bucharest, Romania. The 2021 European Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament is the second regional qualifying tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The event was held from 18 to 21 March 2021, in BOK Sports Hall, Budapest, Hungary. Qualification summary A total of 36 athletes secured a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Japan. Two spots were given to each of the weight classes in every event. This allows a total of 12 available spots for each event.
