Erik Røring Møinichen
Erik Røring Møinichen (15 December 1797 – 7 February 1875) was a Norwegian politician. Personal life Møinichen was born in Trondhjem as a son of district stipendiary magistrate Thomas Henrich Møinichen (1758–1845) and Ingeborg Birgitte Røring, Sr. He was an older brother of Ingeborg Birgitte Møinichen, Jr, who married into the Lie family and was a mother of Erika (Nissen) and Ida Lie and mother-in-law of Jonas Lie. Erik Røring Møinichen even had one of Jonas' sons, Erik Røring Møinichen Lie, named after him. Through another sibling, he was an uncle of Frithjof M. Plahte. Møinichen married Laura Emilie Sørensen (1812–1888) from Skien. Career He held the cand.jur. degree and was hired in the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1827. Otto Vincent Lange (30 November 1797 – 4 November 1870) was a Norwegian politician. Lange was born in Jevnaker, but moved to Arendal. He worked as a school teacher, and helped found the local library and museum in 1832. Nicolai Johan Lohmann Krog
Nicolai Johan Lohmann Krog (6 July 1787 – 15 October 1856) was First Minister of Norway (1836–1855). He also held several other ministerial posts in the period 1821–1855 including Chief of the Ministry of the Army and Navy. Krog was born at Drangedal in Telemark, Norway. He was the son of Andreas Christian von Krogh and Else Marie Poppe. He grow up at Gran Rectory in Hadeland(''Gran prestegård på Hadeland'') where his father was parish priest. Christian Birch-Reichenwald
Christian Birch-Reichenwald (4 January 1814 – 8 July 1891) was a Norwegian jurist and politician who served as mayor of Oslo, Norway. He was born at Blaker in Akershus, Norway. He was the son of to Paul Hansen Birch and Anna Catharina Hoffmand Stenersen. He married Jacobine Ida Sophie Motzfeldt, daughter of Peter Motzfeldt and niece of his own mother. The couple had two children; Anna Ernesta (born 1839) and Peter (born 1843). He studied at the University of Christiania (now University of Oslo), completing his law degree in 1834. During his university studies, he had been chairman in the Norwegian Students' Society. Carl Andreas Fougstad (2 March 1806 – 3 July 1871) was a Norwegian attorney, journalist, author and elected official. He served as mayor of Oslo. Biography Fougstad was born and grew up in Alverstraumen, today in Lindås municipality in Hordaland, Norway. He was the son of Johannes Fougstad (1755–1830) and Charlotte Eleonore Tidemand Arentz (1767–1830). The Norwegian Ministry of Postal Affairs ( no, Postdepartementet) was a Norwegian ministry that existed from 1860 to 1861. It was responsible for postal affairs.
