Erik Hort
Erik Hort (born February 16, 1987 in Montebello, New York) is an American soccer player who is currently a Free Agent. Hort grew up In Montebello, NY. He is one of five children. His father, David Hort, is of Austrian descent and Mother, Ora Hort, is of Israeli descent. Hort grew up In the academy PDA (Players Development Academy) In New Jersey. Hort was also a member of the Eastern New York ODP, Regional and National Team. Very promising career ahead of him, Hort broke his leg in 2000 right before the National Team try outs, but quickly bounced back. In Hort's Senior year of Highschool He was discovered by Czech powerhouse Sparta Prague during a trip with the Regional team. He was eventually signed by them and spent one and a half seasons on their reserve team before joining the Fire in the fall of 2006. Montebello (Italian: "beautiful mountain") is an incorporated village in Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy. 2011 USL Pro Season
The 2011 USL Pro season was the 25th season of third-division soccer in the United States, and was the inaugural season of the United Soccer Leagues' (USL) new professional competition. The league is effectively a combination of the USL's former First and Second Divisions. Following the conclusion of the regular season in August, a postseason tournament, known as the USL Pro Playoffs, took place between the top eight clubs during the season. 2010 Puerto Rico Soccer League Season
The 2010 Puerto Rico Soccer League season (officially known as the SúperCopa DirecTV 2010 for sponsorship reasons) was a one-off competition that served as a qualifying tournament for Puerto Rican teams to the 2011 CFU Club Championship. It was won by CA River Plate Ponce, who qualified to the Caribbean tournament alongside the Puerto Rico Islanders FC. Competition format For the competition, the eight teams were divided into two groups of four. The teams will play within their group in a double round-robin format.
