Erico Verissimo
Érico Lopes Verissimo (December 17, 1905 – November 28, 1975) was an important Brazilian writer, born in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Biography Érico Verissimo was the son of Sebastião Verissimo da Fonseca and Abegahy Lopes Verissimo. His father, heir of a rich family in Cruz Alta, met financial ruin during his son's youth and, as a result, Erico didn't complete secondary school because of the need to work. Verissimo settled in Cruz Alta as the owner of a drugstore, but was unsuccessful. He then moved to Porto Alegre in 1930, willing to live solely by selling his writing. There he began to live around writers of renown, such as Mário Quintana, Augusto Meyer, Guilhermino César and others. In the following year, he was hired to occupy the position of secretary of edition of the '' Revista do Globo'', of which he would become editor in 1933. Arsenio Pastor Erico MartÃnez (30 March 1915 – 23 July 1977) was a Paraguayan football striker. He is the all-time highest goalscorer in the Argentine first division, with 295 goals according to Argentine Football Association. Erico Menczer (8 May 1926 - 10 March 2012) was an Italian film cinematographer. Born in Fiume (later Rijeka) as Erik, he was forced by the fascist phobia for the foreign culture to change his name. At the end of the Second World War, when the city of Fiume became Yugoslav, he first moved to Padua, then to Genoa, and finally to Rome, where he began his film career. After having worked as a camera operator, Menczer made his debut as a cinematographer in 1960 with the comedy film ''Le pillole di Ercole'' directed by Luciano Salce, with whom he had a professional association that characterized his career in the following decades. Erico Spinadel (6 May 1929 – 25 February 2020) was an Austrian and Argentine industrial engineer who specialized in Wind Power. Spinadel was born in Vienna, and obtained his PhD at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2004. Erico Spinadel joined the Argentine National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) in 1956 and in January 1959 he was the first operator to drive a nuclear reactor (the RA 1) to critical conditions. Birth and Education Erbie, as he was fondly called, was born on September 12, 1957. His father was a well-known painter, Eric Fabian, and his mother, Gloria Apolinario Fabian, was a grade school teacher of the Ateneo de Zamboanga.
