Eric Stout
Eric Joseph Stout (born March 27, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. He has previously played in MLB for the Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates. Career Kansas City Royals Stout was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 13th round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of Butler University. He signed and was assigned to the Idaho Falls Chukars, where he spent all of his first professional season, going 5–2 with a 3.58 ERA in 32.2 innings pitched. In 2015, Stout played for the AZL Royals, Lexington Legends, Northwest Arkansas Naturals, and Idaho Falls, posting a combined 0–1 record and 3.15 ERA in 20 games between the four teams. He spent 2016 with Northwest Arkansas, going 6–4 with a 3.86 ERA in 42 games, and 2017 with the Omaha Storm Chasers, pitching to a 5–2 record and 2.99 ERA in 45 games. Omaha Storm Chasers
The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They are located in Papillion, Nebraska, a suburb southwest of Omaha, and play their home games at Werner Park, which opened in 2011. The team previously played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium from 1969 to 2010. Omaha has been the only Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals since their inception in the 1969 Major League Baseball expansion. The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. They are located in Jacksonville, Florida, and are named for shrimp caught in the area. The team plays their home games at 121 Financial Ballpark, which opened in 2003. They previously played at Sam W. Wolfson Baseball Park from 1962 until the end of the 2002 season.
