	Dean Schrempp Dean D. Schrempp (born July 4, 1935, in Dupree, South Dakota) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the South Dakota House of Representatives representing District 28A since January 2009. Schrempp was non-consecutively a member from January 1993 until January 1995 and from January 1997 until January 1999. The '' Huron Daily Plainsman'', also referred to as the ''Plainsman'', is the newspaper. The first settlement at Huron was made in 1880. The city was named after the Huron Indians.
