Erdal Kızılçay
Erdal Kızılçay (born c. 1950) is a multi-instrumentalist musician of Turkish birth. He has worked with, among others, David Bowie. He plays bass guitar, oud, drums, keyboards, trumpet and violin. He lives in Aegerten, Switzerland. Work with David Bowie Kızılçay started working with David Bowie in the early 1980s, notably playing bass on a demo of Bowie's 1983 single " Let's Dance", although he did not appear on the final recording. Kızılçay is a multi-instrumentalist; for example, he played every instrument except guitar on the song "Shades" on Iggy Pop's album ''Blah Blah Blah'' (1986), which was co-produced and co-written by Bowie. Bowie biographer Chris O'Leary called Kızılçay a "godsend" for Bowie, as he allowed Bowie to "cut full studio demos without the bother of shipping in ots of musicians" Kızılçay and Bowie co-wrote the song " When the Wind Blows" for the 1986 film of the same name. Kevin Armstrong (guitarist)
Kevin Armstrong (born 2 February 1958) is an English rock guitarist, record producer and songwriter, best known for his work with David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Morrissey. History Born in Farnborough, Kent, Armstrong attended St. Mary Cray Primary School and St. Olave's Grammar School, Orpington, Kent. Armstrong was signed by Charlie Gillett's Oval Records in 1980 and formed the group Local Heroes SW9 - as they were living in Stockwell, London - (with Matthew Seligman on bass and Kim Barti on drums) and released two albums, ''Drip Dry Zone'' in 1980 and ''New Opium'' in 1981. ''Blah-Blah-Blah'' is the seventh studio album by American musician Iggy Pop. Originally released in October 1986, on the label A&M, it remains his most commercially successful album to date. ''Blah-Blah-Blah'' appeared after a four-year hiatus for Pop, with David Bowie serving as his prime collaborator. It would be their final collaboration. A successful tour followed the album's release. Mike Garson
Michael David Garson (born July 29, 1945) is an American pianist, who has worked with David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, St. Vincent, Duran Duran, Free Flight and The Smashing Pumpkins. Early career Garson went to Lafayette High School in Brooklyn. After graduating from Brooklyn College with a music degree in 1970, Garson was a member of rock/country/jazz band Brethren with Rick Marotta, Tom Cosgrove and Stu Woods. Carlos Alomar
Carlos Alomar (born 7 May 1951) is a Puerto Ricans, Puerto Rican guitarist. He is best known for his work with David Bowie from the mid-1970s to the early 2000s, having played on more Bowie albums than any musician other than pianist Mike Garson. He has also performed with Duran Duran side project Arcadia (band), Arcadia, on the album ''So Red the Rose''. History The son of a Pentecostal minister, Alomar was raised in New York. Mountain Studios was a commercial recording studio founded by American singer and composer Anita Kerr and husband Alex Grob in 1975 within the Montreux Casino in Montreux, Switzerland. The studio was under the ownership of Queen and then long-time Queen producer David Richards, from 1979 until 2013, after which it became the charity museum/exhibition '' Queen: The Studio Experience'', benefitting the Mercury Phoenix Trust.
