Eqerem Memushi
Eqerem Memushi (born 7 May 1965) is an Albanian retired footballer and current manager. During his playing career he was a defender and spent most of his career playing for his hometown club Flamurtari Vlorë. He also represented the Albania national team in 1990–1991, playing 4 matches. Playing career Club Memushi won a league title with army club Partizani Tirana in 1987, before returning to his hometown club Flamurtari with whom he won another in 1991. He played for Flamurtari in the 1987–88 UEFA Cup against Spanish giants FC Barcelona. International He made his debut for Albania in a September 1990 friendly match against Greece and earned a total of 4 caps, scoring no goals. His final international was another friendly against Greece in September 1991. The Kategoria Superiore, officially known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away).
