Eoin Cotter
Eoin Cotter (born 29 July 1987 in Douglas, Cork, Ireland) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays Gaelic football with his local club Douglas, and was a member of the Cork senior inter-county team from 2010. Before joining the senior team he also played underage with Cork. He was captain of the team that won the 2005 Munster Minor Football Championship. He also played Under 21, and was part of the panel that won the 2007 Munster and All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championships. At club level he helped Douglas to a first Cork Senior Football Championship final in 2008. However their opponents, Nemo Rangers, were successful in the final. Douglas GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Douglas, County Cork, Ireland. The club participates at different levels in hurling, Gaelic football, camogie and ladies football. The club is part of the Seandún division of Cork GAA. History A hurling team representing Douglas participated in the first Cork Senior Hurling Championship in 1887. A number of Douglas-based clubs, including Castletreasure and St Columbas, existed through the early 20th century, before the latter was renamed 'Douglas Hurling and Football Club' in 1938. The Cork Premier Senior Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Bon Secours Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Cork PSFC) is an annual club Gaelic football competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking senior clubs and amalgamated teams in the county of Cork in Ireland, deciding the competition winners through a group and knockout format. It is the most prestigious competition in Cork Gaelic football. Boston GAA
The Northeast Divisional Board is a division of the United States GAA (USGAA) covering the Boston Metropolitan Area. It is the largest division of the USGAA, which in turn is affiliated to the Gaelic Athletic Association in Dublin, the governing body for Gaelic games (including Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie). The Northeast Divisional Board headquarters are at the Irish Cultural Center (ICC) in Canton, Massachusetts, which has hosted USGAA championships and tournaments combining the USGAA and the other two North American GAA affiliates, the New York GAA and the Canadian GAA. Nemo Rangers Hurling & Football Club is a Cork-based Gaelic Athletic Association club on the southside of Cork city, Ireland. The club was founded in 1922 and is involved in Gaelic football, hurling, Ladies football and Camogie. History Nemo Rangers Hurling & Football Club was founded in 1922 following the amalgamation of two Cork clubs – Nemo and Rangers.
