Eoghan Keniry
Eoghan Keniry (born 1996) is an Irish hurler who plays for club side Killeagh. He is a former member of the Cork senior hurling team. Keniry usually lines out as a forward. Career Keniry first came to hurling prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Killeagh- St Ita's amalgamation. He simultaneously lined out at colleges' level with Midleton CBS Secondary School before joining the Killeagh senior team. Keniry first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of the Cork minor hurling team and scored 2–04 in his debut against Kerry in 2014. He spent one season with the Cork under-21 side. Killeagh GAA
Killeagh GAA club is a hurling and Gaelic football club located in the small village of Killeagh in east County Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated with the East Cork division of Imokilly and the Cork county board. Notable players The inter-county hurling player Joe Deane, who played for Cork as a left full forward, was born in Killeagh. Mark Landers, who captained Cork to an All Ireland title in 1999, was also part of the Killeagh team that won the County Intermediate title in 2001. History Hurling and Gaelic football was played in the parish of Killeagh before the foundation of the GAA in 1884. The first game that Jamesy Kelleher of Dungourney played was in 1892 in Dangan field in the parish of Killeagh. The 2014 Cork Senior Hurling Championship is the 126th staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The championship began on 20 April 2014 and ended on 12 October 2014. Midleton were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Douglas in round four. Courcey Rovers were relegated from the championship after three seasons in the top tier. Sarsfield's won the title after a 2–18 to 0–8 defeat of Glen Rovers in the final. Cork Premier Under-21 A Hurling Championship
Cork Premier Under-21 A Hurling Championship (currently known for sponsorship reasons as the ''Evening Echo'' Cork County Premier Under-21 A Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1973 for the top tier under-21 hurling teams in the county of Cork in Ireland. The series of games are played from the summer to the winter months with the county final currently being played at Páirc Uí Rinn. The prize for the winning team is the Dick Barrett Cup. The championship uses a double elimination format whereby each team is guaranteed at least two games. 22 clubs currently participate in the Premier Under-21 Championship. The 2020 Cork Senior A Hurling Championship was the first staging of the Cork Senior A Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 19 November 2019. The championship was scheduled to begin in April 2020, however, it was postponed indefinitely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games.
