Eoghan Campbell
Eoghan Campbell (born 1994) is a hurler from Northern Ireland who plays for Antrim Senior Championship club Ruairí Óg and at inter-county level with the Antrim senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a wing-back. Career Campbell joined the Ruairí Óg club in Cushendall at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels. As a member of the club's senior team he lined out at centre-back when Ruairí Óg lost the 2016 All-Ireland club final to Na Piarsaigh. At inter-county level, Campbell won three consecutive Ulster Championships with the Antrim under-21 team and was at midfield for the 2013 All-Ireland U21 final defeat by Wexford. As a member of the Antrim senior hurling team he has won five consecutive Ulster Championship titles, a National League Division 2A title and a Joe McDonagh Cup title. Cushendall
Cushendall (), formerly known as Newtownglens, is a coastal village and townland (of 153 acres) in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is located in the historic barony of Glenarm Lower and the civil parish of Layd, and is part of Causeway Coast and Glens district. Located on the A2 coast road between Glenariff and Cushendun, Cushendall is in the Antrim Coast and Glens an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It lies in the shadow of the table topped Lurigethan Mountain and at the meeting point of three of the Glens of Antrim: Glenaan, Glenballyemon and Glencorp. Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship
The Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Ulster GAA Hurling Senior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Ulster GAA, Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the champion hurling teams in the province of Ulster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious club competition in Ulster hurling. Introduced in 1970-71 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship#Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship, 1970, it was initially a straight knockout tournament open to the nine county club champion teams in Ulster. The competition currently retains the knockout format but features just four teams who represent the strongest hurling counties in Ulster. The 2017 National Hurling League was the 86th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. 2020 Joe McDonagh Cup
The 2020 Joe McDonagh Cup was the third staging of the Joe McDonagh Cup since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 2018. The competition was initially scheduled to begin on 10 May 2020 and end on 29 June 2020. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games, the first-round games were delayed until 25 October 2020. Laois, the 2019 champions, were promoted to the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship, while Offaly were relegated to the Christy Ring Cup. Meath and Carlow entered the cup. On 13 December 2020, Antrim won the Joe McDonagh Cup after a 0–22 to 1–17 win over Kerry in the final at Croke Park. It was their first ever title. 2017 Ulster Senior Hurling Championship
The 2017 Ulster Senior Hurling Championship was the 69th staging of the Ulster hurling championship since its establishment by the Ulster Council in 1901. The tournament was moved to April, instead of the usual June/July dates, in order to accommodate the various tiers of the All-Ireland championship. Antrim won a sixteenth consecutive title.
