Envirolink Northwest
Envirolink Northwest was an organisation which existed to promote, strengthen and support the Low Carbon and Environmental Goods and Services (LCEGS) sector in England's Northwest. The not-for-profit organisation went into liquidation in January 2013. Set up in 1999, at its peak in 2010 Envirolink Northwest employed 90 staff and turned over £6m. It was based at offices in Birchwood, Warrington. Envirolink hosted a network of over 1500 companies based in the region related to the environment. Envirolink is supported by the Northwest Development Agency. Northwest England
North West England is one of nine official regions of England and consists of the administrative counties of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside. The North West had a population of 7,052,000 in 2011. It is the third-most-populated region in the United Kingdom, after the South East and Greater London. Birchwood
Birchwood is a town in the Borough of Warrington, Cheshire, England with a population of 11,395 (as at the 2001 census). Although physically and administratively part of Warrington, the civil parish council has named itself a town council. Historically part of Lancashire, it was built during the time of much expansion in Warrington as it became a "new town". Warrington
Warrington () is a town and unparished area in the borough of the same name in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Mersey. It is east of Liverpool, and west of Manchester. The population in 2019 was estimated at 165,456 for the town's urban area, and just over 210,014 for the entire borough, the latter being more than double that of 1968 when it became a new town.
