Enver Marić
Enver Marić (born 16 April 1948) is a Bosnian former professional football goalkeeper and retired football manager. Club career He started his career playing for FK Velež Mostar from 1967 to 1976, for who he played a record 600 games in his nine-year stint. Marić then went on to play for German club FC Schalke 04 from 1976 to 1978 and the Yugoslavia national team at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. Marić is also remembered for being the part of the Velež three known as the "Mostar BMV" ( Bajević, Marić and Vladić) during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. International career He made his debut for Yugoslavia in an April 1972 European Championship qualification match against the Soviet Union and has earned a total of 32 caps, scoring no goals. His final international was a May 1976 European Championship qualification match away against Wales. Hertha, Berliner Sport-Club e. The Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF) is an international organization dedicated to collecting statistics about association football. Croatian Footballer Of The Year
The Croatian Footballer of the Year ( hr, Nogometaš godine) is the most prestigious annual association football award in Croatia. It is awarded by the newspaper ''Večernji list'' to the best Croatian football player in the preceding year, regardless of the league they play in, based on a points system which measures their performances for both club and country. The award is usually presented in a ceremony hosted by the Croatian Football Federation. The award was established in 1972 and, until 1990, the award was given to the best Yugoslav player in the preceding year. Balkans Cup
The Balkans Cup was an international football competition for clubs from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, and Yugoslavia. It was introduced in 1961 and was very popular in the 1960s (the 1967 final attracted 42,000 spectators), being the second most important international club competition for clubs from the region (after the European Champions' Cup in which the champions could play; the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup originally attracted few teams from the region as many did not organise domestic cups regularly and only Yugoslavia had significant representation in the Fairs Cup). The competition has been dominated by Bulgaria-based teams. The Bulgarian teams have won together a total number of 9 titles. The 1980–81 Yugoslav Cup ( sr, Куп Југославије; hr, Kup Jugoslavije; sl, Pokal Jugoslavije, mk, Куп на Југославија); also known as "Marshal Tito Cup" (''Kup Maršala Tita''); was the 33rd season of the top association football knockout competition in Yugoslavia since its establishment in 1946.
