''Entre a Mi Mundo'' ( en, italic=yes, Enter My World) is the third studio album by American singer Selena, released on May 6, 1992, by EMI Latin. In his recording debut with Selena y Los Dinos, guitarist Chris Pérez had fallen in love with Selena—which Selena's father and manager of the group, Abraham Quintanilla, Jr., disapproved of—and Pérez and Selena eloped on April 2, 1992, after Abraham fired Pérez from the band. Abraham later apologized, accepted Pérez and Selena's relationship, and accepted Pérez as a member of the band. Selena's brother and music producer, A.B. Quintanilla, oversaw production of ''Entre a Mi Mundo.'' A.B. also composed most of the tracks on the album along with band members Ricky Vela and Pete Astudillo. Pete Astudillo
Pedro Astudillo (born December 1, 1963) is an American singer and songwriter. He was a backup vocalist for Selena y Los Dinos and has released several albums as a solo artist. Early life Astudillo was born on December 1, 1963, in Laredo, Texas, to Pedro and Paz Astudillo. He was one of the leaders of the Tejano music scene, and from an early age followed mariachi and conjunto music. He began his musical career in a duo band called Los Bad Boyz alongside his friend Joe Ojeda in their hometown Laredo in 1985. In 1987, they were brought into a band, Selena y Los Dinos, by its manager, Abraham Quintanilla Jr., after opening a show for Los Dinos at a disco in Laredo. Astudillo became a backup vocalist for the Queen of Tejano, Selena, the lead member of the group. "¿Qué Creías?" ("What Did You Think?") is a song by American singer Selena, taken from her third studio album, ''Entre a Mi Mundo'' (1992). It was written by Pete Astudillo and A. B. Quintanilla; the composition was a result of a challenge issued by A. B. to Astudillo to create a song before they arrived in Las Vegas from California.
