Enskede-Årsta-Vantör (listen ) is a borough (''stadsdelsområde'') in Söderort, the southern part of Stockholm, Sweden. Municipalities in Sweden are in some rare cases divided into smaller districts (sometimes translated ''boroughs'') or urban districts, and are sometimes assigned administrative boards responsible for certain areas of governance in their respective areas. Janice Deborah Kavander Kamya (born 29 September 1994) mostly known as Janice, is a Swedish singer. Music career Born to a Ugandan father and a Finnish mother (born in Helsinki, to a half-Finnish and half-Dutch family), Janice started studying at at the age of eleven and then went to high school at Södra Latin, where she specialized in dancing. She has been a member of the Tensta Gospel Choir since 2009. She got her breakthrough in music in 2016, when she released the single "Don't Need To", which she also co-wrote. Sanna Nielsen
Sanna Viktoria Nielsen (born 27 November 1984) is a Swedish singer and television presenter. On her seventh attempt, she won Melodifestivalen in 2014 with the song " Undo" and so represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, finishing in 3rd place overall. Sanna was one of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 commentators for Sweden and hosted Melodifestivalen 2015 along with comedian Robin Paulsson. Janet Ava Owji (born 19 October 1990), also known by her stage name Janet Leon, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and A&R. Leon began her career as part of the pop group Play, for which she was lead singer 2003–2005. First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo consisting of the sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993, respectively. When performing live, they are accompanied by a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboard player. Hagsätra
Hagsätra is a quarter in Söderort, the southern part of Stockholm Municipality, Sweden. It borders with the quarters of Älvsjö, Örby and Rågsved in Stockholm, as well as Stuvsta in neighboring Huddinge Municipality. Hagsätra covers an area of 420 acres (1.7 km² or 0.66 mi2) and has a population of around 7,800. This area previously belonged to ''Älvsjö gård'' manor but was incorporated into Stockholm in 1930. But it wasn't until 1957 Hagsätra started expanding with modern houses and architecture. Hagsätra has a marketplace known as Hagsätra torg. Rågsved is a suburb historically belonging to the district of Bandhagen in Stockholm, Sweden. History Rågsved remained uninhabited until the mid-1950s. In 1953 a development plan was set up for the area. Rågsveds centrum and Rågsved metro station on the Stockholm metro were built in 1955-1957. The first areas built were the neighborhoods of Snösätrahöjden and Bjursätrahöjden The neighbouring community of Hagsätra was formed in 1959. In the early years, Rågsved was mostly inhabited by expatriate workers from the inner city, particularly from Södermalm, and was considered state of the art in the late 1950s. For a long time it was populated by highly paid, affluent tenants. While Rågsved was built, an industrialization type of style dominated the construction, and this is visible at the houses located to the north of the subway. Örby
Örby is a residential area in Söderort, Stockholm Municipality, Sweden. It has an area of 159 hectares and 4,720 inhabitants. History Örby got its name from the Örby Manor (''Örby slott''), as does the neighbouring residential area of Örby slott. Örby was created a self-governing village within Brännkyrka Rural District in 1904. The area was amalgamated with Stockholm City in 1913 and the rural district was dissolved. In the present administration of the city, it is part of the borough of Enskede-Årsta-Vantör. Notable buildings Leipzighuset is a multi-dwelling apartment house located at the corner of Turingevägen / Gamla Huddingevägen in Örby. Built in the early 1900s, the architecture differs from other buildings in Örby and was inspired by German metropolitan architecture from the turn of the 1900s.
