Architectural Ensemble
The architectural ensemble (from the french: ensemble - integrity, connectedness, unity) is harmonious unity of the spatial composition of buildings, engineering structures (bridges, embankments, etc.), works of monumental painting, sculpture and landscape gardening art. The image of the architectural ensemble depends on the change of lighting, season, the presence of people. An important element of the ensemble can serve as a landscape. In this case, the topography (for example, churches that were built on the high bank of the river) can play a key role. Very often, architectural ensembles include ponds. There are architectural ensembles created at a time, according to a single plan, and ensembles that take shape over the years, the efforts of many architects, carefully complementing the emerging composition so that new elements are organically combined with old ones. Classical examples of such ensembles include St. Mark's Square in Venice and Palace Square in St. Petersburg ... Ensemble Averaging (machine Learning)
In machine learning, particularly in the creation of artificial neural networks, ensemble averaging is the process of creating multiple models and combining them to produce a desired output, as opposed to creating just one model. Frequently an ensemble of models performs better than any individual model, because the various errors of the models "average out." Overview Ensemble averaging is one of the simplest types of committee machines. Along with boosting, it is one of the two major types of static committee machines.Haykin, Simon. Neural networks : a comprehensive foundation. 2nd ed. Upper Saddle River N.J.: Prentice Hall, 1999. In contrast to standard network design in which many networks are generated but only one is kept, ensemble averaging keeps the less satisfactory networks around, but with less weight.Hashem, S. "Optimal linear combinations of neural networks." Neural Networks 10, no. 4 (1997): 599–614. The theory of ensemble averaging relies on two properties o ... La République En Marche!
Renaissance (RE), previously known as La République En Marche ! (frequently abbreviated LREM, LaREM or REM; translated as "The Republic on the Move" or "Republic Forward"), or sometimes called simply En Marche ! () as its original name, is a liberal political party in France. The party was founded on 6 April 2016 by Emmanuel Macron, a former Minister of the Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs, who was later elected president in the 2017 French presidential election with 66.1% of the second-round vote. Presented as a pro-European party, Macron considers LREM to be a progressive movement, uniting both the left and the right. Following that year's presidential election, the party ran candidates in the 2017 French legislative election, including dissidents from the Socialist Party (PS) and the Republicans (LR) as well as minor parties. It won an absolute majority in the National Assembly, securing 308 seats. LREM accepts globalisation and wants to "modernise and moralise ... In telecommunications and computer networking, multiplexing (sometimes contracted to muxing) is a method by which multiple analog or digital signals are combined into one signal over a shared medium. The aim is to share a scarce resource - a physical transmission medium. For example, in telecommunications, several telephone calls may be carried using one wire. Multiplexing originated in telegraphy in the 1870s, and is now widely applied in communications. In telephony, George Owen Squier is credited with the development of telephone carrier multiplexing in 1910. The multiplexed signal is transmitted over a communication channel such as a cable. The multiplexing divides the capacity of the communication channel into several logical channels, one for each message signal or data stream to be transferred. A reverse process, known as demultiplexing, extracts the original channels on the receiver end. A device that performs the multiplexing is called a multiplexer (MUX), and a devi ... Quantum Statistical Mechanics
Quantum statistical mechanics is statistical mechanics applied to quantum mechanical systems. In quantum mechanics a statistical ensemble (probability distribution over possible quantum states) is described by a density operator ''S'', which is a non-negative, self-adjoint, trace-class operator of trace 1 on the Hilbert space ''H'' describing the quantum system. This can be shown under various mathematical formalisms for quantum mechanics. One such formalism is provided by quantum logic. Expectation From classical probability theory, we know that the expectation of a random variable ''X'' is defined by its distribution D''X'' by : \mathbb(X) = \int_\mathbb \lambda \, d \, \operatorname_X(\lambda) assuming, of course, that the random variable is integrable or that the random variable is non-negative. Similarly, let ''A'' be an observable of a quantum mechanical system. ''A'' is given by a densely defined self-adjoint operator on ''H''. The spectral measure of ''A'' defined ... Ensemble Forecasting
Ensemble forecasting is a method used in or within numerical weather prediction. Instead of making a single forecast of the most likely weather, a set (or ensemble) of forecasts is produced. This set of forecasts aims to give an indication of the range of possible future states of the atmosphere. Ensemble forecasting is a form of Monte Carlo method, Monte Carlo analysis. The multiple simulations are conducted to account for the two usual sources of uncertainty in forecast models: (1) the errors introduced by the use of imperfect initial conditions, amplified by the Chaos theory, chaotic nature of the evolution equations of the atmosphere, which is often referred to as sensitive dependence on initial conditions; and (2) errors introduced because of imperfections in the model formulation, such as the approximate mathematical methods to solve the equations. Ideally, the verified future atmospheric state should fall within the predicted ensemble Standard deviation, spread, and the amou ...
