Enosi Atromitou - Rethimniakou
Enosi Atromitou Rethymniakou, more commonly known as EAR, was a Greek football club based in Rethymno, Crete and was part of the EAR multi-sport club. Throughout its history of 16 years, the club played nine seasons in Beta Ethniki, the second tier of the Greek football league system and came very close to promote to top tier during the 1993–94 season, a feat that has never been matched by other Rethymno clubs to this day. EAR eventually shutdown the football department in 1999. Rethymno
Rethymno ( el, Ρέθυμνο, , also ''Rethimno'', ''Rethymnon'', ''Réthymnon'', and ''Rhíthymnos'') is a city in Greece on the island of Crete. It is the capital of Rethymno regional unit, and has a population of more than 30,000 inhabitants (near 40,000 for the municipal unit). It is a former Latin Catholic bishopric as Retimo(–Ario) and former Latin titular see. Rethymno was originally built during the Minoan civilization (ancient Rhithymna and Arsinoe). Dimitris Pittas
Dimitris Pittas ( el, Δημήτρης Πήττας; born 8 April 1958) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as midfielder. Club career Pittas started playing football as an amateur at GS Patision in 1974. He won the local championship and he also became an international with the youth team in 1976. Two years later he moved to Korinthos, where he played for three seasons and in 1979 he won the second division at their group, as well as the promotion to the first division. In 1981 he moved to Ethnikos Piraeus, where he played for four seasons and his performances attracted the interest of the big clubs. In 1985, Pittas was transferred to the PAOK and played at the club of Thessaloniki until 1986. In December of 1986, Pittas moved to AEK Athens and performed quite well, helping the team with his good technique and strong shot. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. Pavlos Dermitzakis ( gr, Παύλος Δερμιτζάκης; born 29 June 1969) is a Greek professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Super League 2 club Panserraikos. Playing career Dermitzakis began his football career in Kavala, playing for amateur local side Vyron Kavala. In 1987, he was acquired by the city's most prestigious club Kavala, where he played for five years in both the second and third tiers of the Greek football league system and scoring a total of 47 goals. In 1992, Dermitzakis joined Alpha Ethniki side PAOK, where he spent the next three years of his career. The Gamma Ethniki ( el, Γ΄ Εθνική Ερασιτεχνική Κατηγορία, C National Amateur Division) is the third highest football league in Greece. History The Gamma Ethniki began in 1965 as an amateur championship, while in 1983 it was changed to professional.
