Peppermint Park (TV Series)
''Peppermint Park'' is a direct-to-video children's show consisting of six volumes, released in 1987 and 1988 on VHS. The show is a mixture of live action, animation, and puppets. Characters included Ernie, who sang a song about the letter M; Snorkee, a reptile who is often oblivious to his surroundings and lacks common sense; Maynard, an elderly man who laments over his wasted youth; and Piggle, a pig with a big appetite whose voice was similar to that of Kermit the Frog, among others. Many of the show's elements seem to have been copied from ''Sesame Street''. Production and release The series was directed and produced by John Horton and Mark V International and released by Televidics Productions. is a shōjo manga by Hideko Mizuno first published in 1968 and made into a 29-episode anime television series in 1981 by Kokusai Eiga-sha (Movie International Company, Ltd.). The anime was released in the English language in the United States in 1984 as ''Honey Honey''. It was also broadcast in various European countries and in Latin America. Story The story begins in the city of Vienna in 1907, as the city holds a lavish birthday celebration for its beloved Princess Flora. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Tsuda. It was serialized in ''LaLa'' from 1996 to 2005 and collected in 21 ''tankōbon'' volumes by Hakusensha. It depicts the romance between "perfect" student Yukino Miyazawa and her academic rival Soichiro Arima, and the relationships of several of their friends. Gokudō-kun Man'yūki
is a Japanese light novel series written by Usagi Nakamura and illustrated by Takeru Kirishima. The light novel was first serialized by Kadokawa Shoten in their light novel magazine Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko. It was later adapted into a manga in 1995 and released in Dengeki Daioh magazine. An anime adaptation was produced by Trans Arts and aired on from 2 April 1999 to 24 September 1999, with a total of 26 episodes. Enoki Films holds the United States anime license under the name ''Jester the Adventurer''. In 2001, AnimeWorks translated and released the anime on DVD as simply ''Gokudo''. is a 1972 manga by Leiji Matsumoto.In Matsumoto's works, there have been planets with towns modelled somewhat after the Wild West. In ''Galaxy Express 999'', one of them is called Gun Frontier. Another such planet appears in ''Cosmo Warrior Zero''. It introduces Tochiro Oyama, best friend to Matsumoto's classic hero, Captain Harlock, who is in turn depicted as a gunslinger in the Old West. Demon Lord Dante
is a manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The series tells the story of Ryo Utsugi, a student who finds himself in the body of an ancient demon known as Dante and sees himself in the middle of a conflict between God and the devils. Nagai's main influence to create the work was Gustave Doré's illustrations of Dante's ''Divine Comedy''. The series challenged the traditional view of God as good and Devil as bad and was created to provoke the critics of his previous works. During 1971, Nagai wrote the original ''Demon Lord Dante'' manga, which was published in Kodansha's ''Bokura Magazine''.
