Dietrich Enns (born May 16, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Saitama Seibu Lions of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins and Tampa Bay Rays. Amateur career Enns attended Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Illinois, and Central Michigan University. He played college baseball for the Central Michigan Chippewas. In 2011, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and was named a league all-star. Harry Enns
Harry Enns (November 30, 1931 – June 24, 2010) was a Manitoba politician. He served as a Cabinet Minister in the governments of Dufferin Roblin, Walter Weir, Sterling Lyon and Gary Filmon, and was an unsuccessful candidate for the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba in 1971. A long-serving member of the Manitoba legislature, he retired from public life in 2003. The son of Reverend John Herman Enns, a minister for the First Mennonite Church, and Agathe Unruh, Enns was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and worked as a rancher before entering politics. He was married to Eleanor Jones. His brother Siegfried John Enns served in the Canadian House of Commons. Leonard Jacob Enns (born 1948) is a Canadian composer of classical music. He is professor emeritus of the University of Waterloo. Early life and education Enns was born on 2 February 1948 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He has undergraduate degrees in music from Canadian Mennonite Bible College and Wilfrid Laurier University, and an M.Mus. in choral conducting and Ph.D. from Northwestern University, where his doctoral thesis (1982) was "The sacred choral music of Harry Somers : an analytical study". He is an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Musical career Enns was musical director of the United Mennonite Educational Institute in Leamington, Ontario from 1969 to 1972, and joined the teaching faculty of Conrad Grebel College of the University of Waterloo in 1977. Peter Eric Enns (born January 2, 1961) is an American Biblical scholar and theologian. He has written widely on hermeneutics, Christianity and science, historicity of the Bible, and Old Testament interpretation. Outside of his academic work Enns is a contributor to ''HuffPost'' and ''Patheos''. He has also worked with Francis Collins' The BioLogos Foundation. His book ''Inspiration and Incarnation'' challenged conservative/mainstream Evangelical methods of biblical interpretation. Siegfried John Enns (26 April 192425 January 2020) was a Progressive Conservative party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was a social worker by career. He was first elected at the Portage—Neepawa riding in the 1962 general election, then re-elected there in 1963 and 1965. With riding boundary changes, Enns sought re-election at the Portage riding for the 1968 election but was defeated by Gerald Cobbe of the Liberal party. He died on 25 January 2020, aged 95.
