Enmarket Arena
Enmarket Arena is a multi-purpose complex in Savannah, Georgia, United States. It opened in February 2022 with a 9,500-seat arena, including twelve luxury suites, five lodge boxes, and a party suite. Enmarket Arena is the home to the Savannah Ghost Pirates of the ECHL. History The possibility of a new arena in Savannah was discussed for around 20 years before the announcement of the Enmarket Arena. Discussions began about replacing the Savannah Civic Center started in 2001. In fall 2018, the City of Savannah announced plans for the construction of a new arena in the westside to replace the Martin Luther King, Jr. Arena at the Savannah Civic Center. In September 2019, the proposed new arena broke ground. In January 2021, the ECHL approved a 2022–23 season expansion team to play out of the new arena. Savannah Ghost Pirates
The Savannah Ghost Pirates are a professional minor league ice hockey team in the ECHL based in Savannah, Georgia. The team began play in the 2022–23 ECHL season with home games at the Enmarket Arena. History On May 19, 2022, the Ghost Pirates announced a one-year affiliation for the 2022–23 season with the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL), as well as their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights. Widespread Panic is an American rock band from Athens, Georgia. The current lineup includes guitarist/singer John Bell, bassist Dave Schools, drummer Duane Trucks, percussionist Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz, keyboardist John "JoJo" Hermann, and guitarist Jimmy Herring. The band's original guitarist and sometime songwriter, Michael Houser, died of pancreatic cancer in 2002, and the original drummer, Todd Nance, left in 2016 and died in 2020. The Lumineers
The Lumineers are an American alternative folk band based in Denver, Colorado. The founding members are Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano). Breaking Benjamin is an American Rock music, rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, formed in 1999 by lead singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley and drummer Jeremy Hummel. New Edition
New Edition is an American R&B/Pop group from the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1978 by Bobby Brown. Their name is taken to mean a 'new edition' of the Jackson 5. The group reached its height of popularity in the 1980s and are considered the "blue print" for what would become the "modern boy band".
