Enigheden
Mælkeriet Enigheden, usually referred to simply as Enigheden, was a cooperative dairy products company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The existed from 1897 to 1996 and was from 1906 based at Lygten 39–41 in Nordvest. The Baroque Revival style main building from 1923 is now owned by C. W. Obel and the Lundbeck Foundation through a jointly owned investment company. History Mælkeriet Enigheden evolved from a labour dispute at Københavns Mælkeforsyning in 1896. A call for better wages and working conditions from the company's wagoners was rejected by Gunni Busck, prompting them to contact Arbejdsmændenes fagforening (from 1897: Dansk Arbejdsmands Forbund). The trade union's leader, Michael Christian Lyngsie, arranged a meeting at Gimle on 16 November 1896. All the wagoners who attended the meeting ended up joining the labour union. Københavns Mælkeforsyning was a Danish dairy products company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. History Kjøbenhavns Mælkeforsyning was founded as a milk processing and distribution company in 1878 by Gunni Busck and Erhard Frederiksen. Busck was already the owner of the Scandinavian Preserved Butter Company as well as Slagelse Dairy. Frederiksen was the first managing director of the company but was after approximately one year succeeded by Busck. Supreme court attorney Herman Barclay Halkier was a board member of the new company and Peter Ludvig Panum was responsible for quality control of the milk. Mejeriet Enigheden
Mejeriet, or Kulturmejeriet (the dairy), is a cultural venue in Lund, Sweden, which opened in 1987. It originally started as a co-operative dairy in 1896 by the corner of Malmövägen and the Lund-Revinge-Harlösa railroad. The dairy itself closed in 1968. Købmagergade is a pedestrian shopping street in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It connects Amagertorv on Strøget to Nørreport station, although the last section, north of Kultorvet, is part of Frederiksborggade, which continues on the other side of the railway station. History The history of the street dates back to about 1200 when it was part of the main route between Roskilde and the small settlement Havn, which was a hub for crossings to Amager and Scania. Between 1380 and 1463, documents refer to the street as Bjørnebrogade. It later became known as Kiødmangergade after the butchers who had their stalls along the street. Kjødmanger ("meatmonger") is an old Danish word for butcher. Måløv is a suburb within Ballerup Municipality, closely attached to Smørumnedre approx. 20 km. west of Copenhagen, in the Capital region, with a population of 8,787 (2022). Grundtvigsvej is a street in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Bülowsvej in the east to Falkoner Allé in the west. Grundtvigsvej School, a public primary school, is located at No. 11. History The land at the site was in the first half of the 19th century owned by an estate called Christianshvile. It was in 1847 acquired by royal book printer Bianco Luno. He adapted the main building in around 1850 and sold most of the land off in lots prior to his death in 1852.
