The sixth team of English cricketers toured the West Indies in the 1910–11 West Indian cricket season, 1910–11 season. For the first time the Marylebone Cricket Club, MCC organised the tour. The team was captained by Arthur Somerset senior, AWF Somerset and played a total of 12 matches, of which 11 are regarded as first-class cricket, first-class, between February and April 1911. Glamorgan CCC
Glamorgan County Cricket Club () is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan (). Founded in 1888, Glamorgan held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship before the First World War. In 1921, the club joined the County Championship and the team was elevated to first-class status, subsequently playing in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England and Wales. Glamorgan is the only Welsh first-class cricket club. They have won the English County Championship competition in 1948, 1969 and 1997. Association Of Cricket Statisticians And Historians
The Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians (ACS) was founded in England in 1973 for the purpose of researching and collating information about the history and statistics of cricket. Originally called the Association of Cricket Statisticians, the words "and Historians" were added in 1992 but it has continued to use the initialism ACS. The ACS headquarters were formerly in Nottingham, opposite Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, but relocated to Cardiff in 2006.
