England A is England's men's second national rugby union team. The team has previously been known by a number of names, such as England B, Emerging England and, most recently, England Saxons. England A play a key role in the development of emerging talent, allowing players to gain experience in an international environment and to show that they have the ability to perform at Test level for the England first team. England A were unbeaten for 13 games until losing to Ireland A, now known as Ireland Wolfhounds, in the 2009 Churchill Cup Final on 21 June 2009. England A were one of three sides that regularly competed in the now-defunct annual Churchill Cup competition, the others being the full national teams of Canada and the United States. Curtis Langdon
Curtis John Langdon (born 3 August 1997) is an English professional rugby union player who plays at hooker. He recently played for Worcester Warriors in Premiership Rugby but his contract was terminated along with every other Warriors player on 5 October 2022. Bristol Bears (officially Bristol Rugby Club or Bristol Rugby) are a professional rugby union club based in Bristol, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. Will Capon (born 12 October 1999) is an English professional rugby union player who plays at hooker for Premiership Rugby club Bristol Bears. Career Capon started playing rugby at the age of seven at Winscombe R.F.C. and joined the Bristol Bears academy in 2014 while studying at Bristol Grammar School. In April 2018 he made his senior Bristol debut as they defeated Doncaster Knights to win the RFU Championship and secure promotion back to the top flight. Newcastle Falcons is a rugby union team that play in Premiership Rugby, England's highest division of rugby union. The club was established in 1877 as the Gosforth Football Club. Around 1882 the club merged with the Northumberland Football Club and briefly assumed their name until 1887. Hooker (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. Jamie Blamire (born 22 December 1997) is an English professional rugby union player who plays as a hooker for Newcastle Falcons in Premiership Rugby. Fraser Dingwall (born 7 April 1999) is an English professional rugby union player who plays for Northampton Saints as a Centre. Career Dingwall attended Bedford School where he was Head of School. Etuale Manusamoa Tuilagi (born 18 May 1991), known as Manu Tuilagi, is a rugby union player for Sale Sharks. He has played internationally for and the British & Irish Lions.
