Enginator
An enginator is an internal combustion engine whose fuel supply comes directly from underground deposits or waste gas produced from a land fill. Its fuel supply will last as long as the natural deposit. Internal Combustion Engine
An internal combustion engine (ICE or IC engine) is a heat engine in which the combustion of a fuel occurs with an oxidizer (usually air) in a combustion chamber that is an integral part of the working fluid flow circuit. In an internal combustion engine, the expansion of the high-temperature and high-pressure gases produced by combustion applies direct force to some component of the engine. The force is typically applied to pistons ( piston engine), turbine blades (gas turbine), a rotor (Wankel engine), or a nozzle ( jet engine). This force moves the component over a distance, transforming chemical energy into kinetic energy which is used to propel, move or power whatever the engine is attached to. This replaced the external combustion engine for applications where the weight or size of an engine was more important. Waukesha is a brand of large stationary reciprocating engines produced by INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines, a business unit of the INNIO Group. For 62 years, Waukesha was an independent supplier of petrol engine, gasoline engines, diesel engines, multifuel engines (gasoline/kerosene/ethanol fuel, ethanol), and liquefied natural gas, LNG/propane engines to many truck, tractor, heavy equipment, automobile, boat, shipbuilding, ship, and engine-generator manufacturers. In 1906, the Waukesha Motor Company was founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In 1957, Waukesha bought the Climax Engineering Co. of Clinton, Iowa, also a noted builder of large engines. In 1968, Waukesha Motor Company was acquired by the Bangor-Punta Corporation. In 1973, Waukesha sold the Climax division to the Arrow Engine Company. ''Modern Marvels'' is an American worldwide television series that formerly aired on the History Channel and is currently shown on Story Television. The program focuses on how technologies affect and are used in modern society. It is History's first and longest-running program. It was first aired on A&E on December 10, 1992 under the banner "Time Machine." The series began airing on the History Channel in 1995 under its current title. Introduction Distinct from other History Channel series, the introduction of ''Modern Marvels'' features visuals and sounds of a bolt being turned by a ratchet wrench, followed by a partially computer-generated sequence involving construction workers building and hanging the title.
