Piz Nair () is a mountain of the Albula Alps in Switzerland, overlooking St. Moritz in the Cantons of Switzerland, canton of Graubünden. Allison Forsyth
Allison Forsyth (born 14 October 1978) is a Canadian former alpine skier from Nanaimo, British Columbia, who competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics. She retired from competitive skiing after the 2007–08 season, due to injuries suffered over her career, and to start a family. Forsyth alleges she was sexually abused by Alpine Canada coach Bertrand Charest. In 2017, Charest was sentenced to 12 years in prison for sex crimes against young skiers. He appealed, and his sentence was reduced to 57 months. He has since been granted parole. Forsyth settled her lawsuit against Alpine Canada in October 2023. Denise Karbon (born 16 August 1980) is a retired FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, World Cup Alpine skiing, alpine ski racer from South Tyrol, Italy. She competed in the technical events and specialized in giant slalom. She competed in all five disciplines and was a world champion, three-time Olympic medalist, and an overall World Cup champion. Corinne Rey-Bellet (2 August 1972 – 30 April 2006) was a Swiss alpine skier. Rey-Bellet shared a World Championship silver medal in the downhill event in St. Moritz in 2003 (in a tie with Alexandra Meissnitzer) and won a total of five World Cup races. Mélanie Turgeon (born October 21, 1976, in Alma, Quebec) is a skier and former member of the Canadian national ski team. A member of the Mont Ste. Anne ski club, Turgeon joined the Canadian national ski team in 1992 at the age of only sixteen. Jonna Mendes (born March 31, 1979) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from the United States. She specialized in the speed events and raced for nine seasons on the World Cup circuit. Mendes competed in two Winter Olympics and four World Championships. She was the bronze medalist in the Super G at the 2003 World Championships in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Born in Santa Cruz on the California coast, Mendes began skiing at age four when her family moved to the Lake Tahoe area in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
