"Engel 07" (released as "Angel 07" in English) is a song by German synthpop band Hubert Kah, which was released in 1984 as the lead single from the band's second studio album ''Golden Zeiten''. "Engel 07" was written by Hubert Kemmler (music) and Mario Killer (lyrics), and produced by Michael Cretu and . The song reached No. 30 on the German Singles Chart. A re-recorded English language version of the song, "Angel 07", was released as a single in 1985. The English lyrics were written by Timothy Touchton. In the US, "Angel 07" was released from the soundtrack of the 1985 American comedy action film '' Gotcha!''. In 1986, a Japanese version of the song was recorded by Megumi Shiina as "Change Me!" The Japanese lyrics were written by Hiromi Mori. Hubert Kah is a German synthpop band, led by Hubert Kemmler (born 22 March 1961 in Reutlingen). Kemmler is a German musician, composer, songwriter and producer. Biography Kemmler's career began as a member of a trio named Hubert Kah, consisting of Hubert Kemmler (vocals, keyboards), Markus Löhr (guitars, keyboards) and Klaus Hirschburger (bass). It emerged in 1982 at the time of the New German wave and achieved commercial success with the singles "Rosemarie," "Sternenhimmel" and "Einmal Nur Mit Erika... (Dieser Welt Entfliehn)," and with the albums ''Meine Höhepunkte'' and ''Ich Komme''. During this time, Kemmler caused quite a stir by his TV appearances, wearing a nightdress or straitjacket. MCA Records was an American record label owned by MCA Inc., which later became part of Universal Music Group. Michael Cretu ( ro, Mihai Crețu, ; born 18 May 1957) is a Romanian-German musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He gained worldwide fame as the founder and musician behind the musical project Enigma, which he formed in 1990. Cretu began a music career in 1976 as a solo artist and released numerous studio albums as well as writing and producing albums for his then-wife, German pop singer Sandra. He also worked with artists through the 1980s, including Peter Cornelius, Hubert Kah, and Mike Oldfield.
