Endre Kristian Vestvik
Endre Kristian Vestvik (12 September 1894 – 29 March 1956) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. He was born in Finnås. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Rogaland in 1954. Halfway through the term he died and was replaced by Peder Ree Pedersen. Christian Democratic Party (Norway)
The Christian Democratic Party ( nb, Kristelig Folkeparti, nn, Kristeleg Folkeparti, se, Risttalaš Álbmotbellodat, , KrF) is a Christian-democratic political party in Norway founded in 1933. The party is an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP). It currently holds three seats in the Parliament, having won 3.8% of the vote in the 2021 parliamentary election. The current leader of the party is Olaug Bollestad. The Christian Democrats' leader from 1983 to 1995, Kjell Magne Bondevik, was one of the most prominent political figures in modern Norway, serving as Prime Minister from 1997 to 2000 and 2001 to 2005. Finnås
Finnås is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. The municipality, which existed from 1838 until 1916, was located in the traditional district of Sunnhordland. Originally, the municipality encompassed all of the Bømlo (island), island of Bømlo, the small surrounding islands, and the mainland located south of the Bømlafjorden. It was located in the present-day municipalities of Bømlo and Sveio. The ''Kulleseid Canal'' is a canal that was built in the 1800s on a small isthmus on the island of Bømlo. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. Peder Ree Pedersen (1 April 1913 – 19 June 1976) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party. He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Rogaland during the term 1954–1957. Halfway through the term, in 1956, he moved up as a regular representative to replace Endre Kristian Vestvik who had died. Randaberg
Randaberg is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Jæren, at the northern end of the Stavanger Peninsula. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Randaberg. Randaberg is located just north of the city of Stavanger. It is the northernmost conurbation of the Stavanger/Sandnes area, one of the largest urban areas in the country. The Byfjord Tunnel connects the islands of Stavanger Municipality to the east with the mainland of Randaberg.
