End is an American hardcore punk group composed of singer Brendan Murphy, guitarists Will Putney and Gregory Thomas, bassist Jay Pepito, and drummer Billy Rymer. History The band was formed in 2017 and in August of that year released the song "Usurper", as a single from their debut EP, "From the Unforgiving Arms of God", which was released on September 8, 2017. In early 2020, drummer Andrew McEnaney left and was replaced by Billy Rymer On March 26, 2020, the band released the single "Pariah", and announced their debut album "Splinters from an Ever-Changing Face" would be released through Closed Casket Activities. They released 3 more singles from the album, and on June 5, 2020, released their debut album, "Splinters from an Ever-Changing Face". Billy Rymer
Billy Rymer (born December 10, 1984) is an American musician, most notable for being the drummer for The Dillinger Escape Plan from 2009 until the band played its final shows in December 2017. Career The Dillinger Escape Plan (2009–2017) Prior to joining The Dillinger Escape Plan, Rymer was the drummer for Long Island-based rock band The Rivalry. After a trial of auditions, guitarist Ben Weinman invited him to Australia to play Soundwave Music Festival, and in early 2009 it was revealed that Rymer would officially replace Gil Sharone as the new drummer. In an interview with ''Noisey'', Weinman said the Dillinger Escape Plan would stop performing, with Greg Puciato later saying "we're breaking up." Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. The Dillinger Escape Plan
The Dillinger Escape Plan was an American metalcore band. The band was formed in 1997 in Morris Plains, New Jersey by guitarist Ben Weinman, bassist Adam Doll, vocalist Dimitri Minakakis, and drummer Chris Pennie. The band's use of odd time signatures, polyrhythms and unconventional drum patterns became a staple of their sound, although later albums incorporated more melody, and influences from a range of genres. The band's lineup shifted numerous times throughout its existence; by the time the group dissolved, Weinman was the only remaining founding member. Blackened Hardcore
Black metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Common traits include fast tempos, a shrieking vocal style, heavily distorted guitars played with tremolo picking, raw (lo-fi) recording, unconventional song structures, and an emphasis on atmosphere.
