End-Time Illusion
End-Time Illusion (E-TI) is a 21st-century heavy metal band formed in 2002 whose sound encompasses thrash, grind, death, and speed laced with harmonies, breakdowns, and obscure scales. History Founding members are Dave Sharpe (of :Blood Has Been Shed), Jay Warziniac, and Sean Gaura. Jay Rodriquez was recruited for bass guitar shortly thereafter. Starting out with a somewhat commercial metal sound the band quickly released a 3-song demo recorded by producer Zeus (Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, Agnostic Front). The demo fared well among reviewers and was well played on the WAAF (FM) (Boston) show Harder-Faster. The band soon became tired of comparisons to metal-core bands and decided to go back to their roots and destroy via technical riff-oriented metal. Connecticut
Connecticut () is the southernmost state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States. George Marino (April 15, 1947 – June 4, 2012) was an American mastering engineer known for working on albums by rock bands starting in the late 1960s. Biography Marino was born on April 15, 1947, in the New York City borough The Bronx. He attended Christopher Columbus High School there and learned to play the saxophone and bass fiddle in the high school band and was classically trained on guitar. Marino broke into the music business as a guitarist playing rock and roll in local New York City bands such as The Chancellors and The New Sounds Ltd. until most of the band members were drafted into the service for the war in Vietnam. In 1967, Marino landed his first job in the industry as a librarian and assistant at Capitol Studios. Soon after, he apprenticed in the mastering department alongside of Joe Lansky, cutting rock, pop, jazz and classical albums. Agnostic Front is an American hardcore punk band from New York City. Founded in 1980, the band is considered an important influence on the New York hardcore scene, as well as a pioneer of the crossover thrash genre. History First era (1980–1992) Formed in 1980 with Vincent "Vinnie Stigma" Capuccio (formerly of the Eliminators) on lead guitar, with Diego on bass, Rob Krekus on drums and John Watson on vocals. Hatebreed is an American hardcore band from Bridgeport, Connecticut, formed in 1994. The band released its debut album '' Satisfaction is the Death of Desire'' in 1997, which gave the band a cult following. Shadows Fall is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1996. Although Shadows Fall has experienced several line-up changes, for most of its recording career, Shadows Fall has been composed of Jon Donais (lead guitar, backing vocals), Matt Bachand (rhythm guitar, clean vocals), Paul Romanko (bass), Brian Fair (lead vocals), and Jason Bittner (drums). Shadows Fall has released seven studio albums, two compilation albums, and two DVDs.
