Enakkul Oruvan (1984 Film)
''Enakkul Oruvan'' () is a 1984 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language musical film, musical thriller film directed by S. P. Muthuraman, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role, for whom the film was his 125th as an actor, and Sripriya, Sathyaraj in supporting roles. It is a reimagining of the Hindi film ''Karz (film), Karz'' (1980), itself based on the American film ''The Reincarnation of Peter Proud'' (1975). Velmurugan Thangasamy Manohar (born 6 March 1960), professionally credited as Charle, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child.
