Enakhe
''Enakhe'' is an Africa Magic original crime drama set in modern-day Benin City. It was directed by Victor Sanchez Aghahowa and features Alex Usifo, Ivie Okujaye, Philip Asaya, Lancelot Oduwa Imaseun and Lota Chukwu. It premiered on September 28, 2020 and airs on Africa Magic Showcase, DStv channel 151. It also streams on Showmax, at the same time as the broadcast on Africa Magic. Plot summary Set in modern-day Benin city, ''Enakhe'' tells the story of Epa Iwinosa, father of the Eponymous character and the leader of “the association of friends” also known as “the table”, a small brotherhood that rules the underworld in Benin. Epa moved to crime after his friend's child died due to a lack of funds. It also tells the story of Enakhe who is kind, unassuming and ignorant of her father's dealings. Ivie Okujaye
Ivie Okujaye Egboh (born 16 May 1987) is a Nigerian actress, film producer, scriptwriter, dancer, singer and activist. In 2009, she participated and won the '' Amstel Malta Box Office'' (AMBO) reality TV show. She is sometimes called ''little Genevieve'' because she resembles actress Genevieve Nnaji. She was awarded ''Best Young Actor'' at the 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards. Personal life She was born in Benin City to a Delta State father and an Edo State mother. She is the last of 5 children. Alex Usifo
Alex Usifo (born 16 April 1953) is a Nigerian actor. Career Usifo auditioned at different media houses including Radio Nigeria Lagos, Voice of Nigeria, NTA Ilorin etc. He made it to the top list, but was dropped because of ‘Racial quota, Quota System’. He was unemployed for years. On the invitation of his friend/brother Peter Okun, Alex attended a Deeper Life Crusade, where he desperately asked God for a change in his condition and he got an answer: ‘look inwards’. Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen (born 20 June 1971) is a Nigerian film director and film producer. Career Imasuen has worked in the film industry since 1995 mainly as a film director and producer. He currently lives in Lagos. His films feature unexplored aspects of the African experience including tribalism, witchcraft, crime, poverty, religion, and folk beliefs. 2022 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards
The 2022 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards held on Saturday, 14 May 2022 at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. It was set an 8-day event which started on Saturday, 7 May 2022, unlike previous 1 day events. The nominees were revealed by actors, Adesua Etomi-Wellington and Daniel Etim Effiong on Saturday 19 March 2022 in a ceremony. A total of 33 categories were announced, 12 of which are open to public voting. Best Online Social Content Creator was introduced as a new category. Benin City
